BECOMING A CUSTOMER

To place order with us, you must be over 18 years of age and we should be delivering to your area.

OUR PRODUCTS

The images of the products on our site are for illustrative and representation purposes only. Your products may vary slightly from those images.

Although we have made every effort to be as accurate as possible, because our products are cut fresh to order, all sizes, weights, capacities, dimensions and measurements indicated on our site have a 5% tolerance.

All products shown on our site are subject to availability.

DELIVERY

Delivery is only available for orders placed by telephone. Deliveries will be made by Lea Valley Meat employees on the agreed date, between 8am and 4pm Monday to Friday . We recommend that all fresh food is refrigerated immediately upon delivery.

If, for any unforeseen circumstance, it becomes impossible to make a delivery on the agreed date, or within the agreed period, you will be contacted by a Lea Valley Meat employee to discuss the issue and seek resolution, including the customers right to cancel the order.

The Products will be your responsibility from the completion of delivery.

If nobody is available at the delivery address to take delivery of the order, we will leave your parcel in a secure place (nominated by you, at the time you place your order).

Our deliveries are made with ‘no signature required’. In the event nobody is available to take delivery of your order at either your primary or you ask us to leave your goods unattended at a secure place, Lea Valley Meat Limited expressly disclaims all liability that may arise in consequence of the delivery being left unattended, including, without limitation, theft, tampering or contamination, however caused.

Unfortunately, we do not deliver to addresses outside the UK. However, you may place an order for Products from outside the UK, but this order must be for delivery to an address in the UK.

Lea Valley Meat Ltd reserve the right to cancel a delivery at short notice having provided the customer with a reasonable explanation.

CHARGES AND PAYMENT

The price of the Goods and our delivery charges will be as quoted by us.

Prices and delivery charges are subject to change from time to time but we will always honour prices on orders already placed.

Payment for all goods and services is to be made via credit card, debit card, or bank transfer upon delivery. ( Please be aware that we do not accept cash, as we adhere to a cashless policy. Thank you for your understanding.

We reserve the right to terminate our agreement with you if we are refused authority for payment at any time.

REFUND AND CANCELLATION

If the goods are not fit for consumption on receipt of delivery, please contact us immediately. You must not consume any product that you believe is not fit for consumption.

If you have any doubts, contact us immediately.

If you have returned a product to us because it is faulty or mis-described, we will refund the price of such defective product in full, together with any applicable delivery charges or reasonable costs you incur in returning the product to us.

Unless the products are faulty or not as described you will be responsible for the cost of returning the products to us.

Most of the products on our site are perishable. This means that the right to cancel a Contract does not apply. However, we understand that sometimes you may need to cancel an order and although our products are specifically prepared for your order, if you contact us more than 24 hours before the date your delivery is due, it may be possible to cancel the Contract.

OUR RIGHTS TO CANCEL AND APPLICABLE REFUND

All products shown on our site are subject to availability.

If we have to cancel an order for products before the products are delivered, due to an Event Outside Our Control or the unavailability of stock, we will contact you promptly. If we have to cancel an order in these circumstances and you have made any payment in advance for products that have not been delivered to you, we will refund these amounts to you as soon as possible.
